Premature Harvest before the storm! 9/8/12

With a tornado watch currently in effect I wanted to harvest some tomatoes from the garden even though they're not completely ripe yet! One tomato, the Marion one, is actually a weird shape and split a little.

Today's harvest:
1 cucumber
1 heirloom tomato
1 Marion tomato
6 Juliet tomatoes
3 cherry tomatoes

Small harvest 9/2/12

Harvest are continuing to get smaller but I'm also happy I'm still getting anything! Since the end if July I have been able to harvest something from my garden almost everyday if not every other day! I consider this an accomplishment, especially compared to past years!!

Strange Cucumber harvest! 9/1/12

Today was a small harvest but then again it's already September and the garden is starting to slow down! I got some strange shaped cucumbers today but I'm pretty sure it's due to the inconsistent watering as of late.

Watermelons ready today! Plus today's Harvest! 8/17/12

Finally decided to harvest my two sugar baby watermelons today! I hope they are ripe! They are a small watermelon type so they didn't get that big but are suppose to be delicious! I also got more hot peppers today, which I believe are habaneros.

Here's today's harvest:

6 Juliet tomatoes
1 heirloom tomato
1 pickle cucumber
23 hot peppers (habaneros?)

Totally forgot to post this harvest from Thursday August 9, 2012 which included a 3rd Japanese eggplant! And more tomatoes!

Tomato Harvest!! 7/28/12

This morning I picked a number of tomatoes and a cucumber! The largest tomato in my garden has finally ripened! It's an heirloom tomato so I can save some if the seeds for next season! I also picked 4 more cherry tomatoes, a 2.5 inch picklebush cucumber and my first Juliet tomato (which are small like cherry tomatoes but are more oval shape).
