Blueberry Bushes

I was so excited to see decent size blueberry bushes go on sale at Lowes this spring! I have always wanted blueberry bushes but had no place to put them in the yard but for $7 a bush I had to get two! I ended up with two healthy Chippewa Blueberry bushes, a half high hybrid version. As I researched about blueberry plants I realized the soil they need was very specific and that most people just grew them in large pots on the deck! I thought this was a great idea and that's what I did! I ended up getting a few handful of blueberries from the bushes but hope to get more next year! I also lost a few to some birds!
